With the 2016-2017 school year upon us, preparing our students to start off strong is a necessity that must not be overlooked. School supplies and school clothes are definitely great but if we neglect to help our students become more self-aware, we'll be making a tragic mistake. Business genius, Gary Vaynerchuk says, "Self-Awareness is the game...when you know yourself, you win". I like to say, "When you know yourself, success is more easily attained. As the father of a 1st grader, 8th grader and 9th grader, I desire for my children to be successful. As the oldest of 7 brothers and sisters, I want my younger siblings to be successful. As a #StudentSuccessCoach of 15 years, it is a need for me to see our students start this year off with more confidence than ever before and be extremely successful.

Thanksgiving Lego Camp - Jedi Master Engineering

Just three days, but our Thanksgiving camp gives participants the opportunity to build complex machines and structures based on the best designs from a galaxy far, far away. Projects include LEGO X-Wings, AT-AT Walkers, Pod Racers, Star Destroyers, Cloud Cities, settlements and fortresses. Play-Well’s Jedi instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as gear trains, worm drives, pneumatics, eccentric motion and more as students tap into the powerful forces of imagination and engineering.

William Jessup University celebrates 10 years!

William Jessup University based in Rocklin celebrated its 10th year anniversary today with 12000 students.  That number includes 400 new students; another record breaking year.

Denio's Gives Back to Community with Scholarships

Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market & Swap Meet showed their support of community youth by presenting Brenda Borja, Taylor Henry, Jolene Jones, and Andrea Mollera, each a scholarship of $500 for continued education. The students were presented with their scholarships by Ken Denio on May 24, 2014 at the swap meet.

The education award application process starts in spring and is given annually to deserving student employees of Denio’s who are succeeding in the classroom, are active in the community and are highly successful in their employment with Denio’s.
